Non-league star Cohel Bramall is set to be Arsenal’s first January signing, according to reports.
Few days ago, report broke out that Arsenal were considering offering the starlet a professional contract after he impressed club officials on a trial last week.
And now Skysports claim Arsenal have completed the signing of the young man.
Bramall, 20, currently plays for non-league side Hednesford town and is now set to make the step to the Premier League with Arsenal.
This is definitely a remarkable rise in the youngster’s career considering he was playing in the eight-tier for Market Drayton last season and only joined Hednesford at the start of the current campaign.
He has now completed a medical at Arsenal and is set to sign a two-year contract.
The youngster who can play as a left back or a left winger is expected to go straight into our U23 team to continue his development.
The young man will be hoping to follow the path of Leicester’s Jamie Vardy who also started from the Non-league and is now one of the Premier League’s fiercest strikers.
I actually hope Bramall can fulfill his potential here and in turn become the club’s left back in the future. Wenger has already likened him to Ashley Cole and I hope he goes on to fulfill his huge potential.
All the best Bramall!
