Fresh reports have emerged claiming the Gunners are set to complete Porto’s defensive midfielder transfer Ruben Neves to the Emirates stadium .
The news broke out after Arsenal’s poor performance in weekend’s games where they drew 1-1.
Arsenal also suffered a major injury blow as two Arsenal key stars got injured, Alexis Sanchez and Laurent Koscielny.
The Gunners are keen of signing 18-year-old as cover for Francis Coquelin who has been ruled out for three months with a knee injury.
Arsene Wenger has sent Scouts from the north London club to watch Neves on a number of occasions this campaign.
However, Neves has spoken out about speculation about a move as a result, he told the Club’s official magazine he’s hopeful of becoming a legend at the Estadio do Dragao
“To hear the president say that he wants to make me a symbol of the club? It’s fantastic,” said the teenager, per Liam Corless of the Daily Mirror. “This made me feel very proud. I am under contract until June 2019 and, at the moment, I am only thinking about the club achieving its goals.”
