Arsenal forward Wellington Silva has joined Championship side Bolton Wanderers on a season long loan.
Arsenal made this announcement on Thursday via the club’s official website and would see the Brazilian forward spend the 2015/2016 season with manager Neil Lennon’s side.
The highly talented 22-year-old winger joined Arsenal from Fluminese in the winter of 2011 but could not feature for the Gunners due to work permit issues.
This saw Silva shipped out on series of loan spells before he was finally granted EU citizenship last season while at La Liga side Almeria.
Now, the young South American star is eligible to ply his trade in England, and manager Arsene Wenger has decided a loan spell at Macron Stadium will set the pacy winger on the right part to be able stake a claim in the Arsenal senior team.
Silva is well known for his pace and trickery on the ball and has been likened to Alexis Sanchez.
