Fenerbahce defensive midfielder Mehmet Topal could be on his way out of the Turkish side after news emerged that an offer in the region of £5million has been received by the club from an unspecified suitor.
The Turkish international who joined Fenerbahce from Valencia for €4.5million in 2012, has emerged as a target for some top Premier League sides.
Fenerbahce will be hoping to hold on to their man, but will have to fend off interests from Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal, with Turkish Eurosport claiming that one of those clubs has made an offer for the 29-year-old midfield power-house.
Arsenal are tipped as favorites to land Mehmet, with the Gunners seemingly in dire need of a defensive midfielder to serve as cover for Francis Coquelin.
Mehmet has made 87 appearances for Fenerbahce scoring 8 goals. He has also been capped 47 times by Turkey at senior level, and would represent a decent addition should Arsenal land him this summer.
