Arsenal are reportedly on the lookout for top quality players ahead of the January transfer window.
Arsenal are interested in signing OGC Nice midfielder Vincent Koziello and are preparing a January transfer bid for the playmaker, according to reports.
Arsenal recently sent scouts to watch the attacking midfielder and the scouts were impressed as they watched Koziello help his team dismantle Olympic Lyonnaise last week.
Arsenal are now ready to table a bid for the midfielder when the winter transfer window opens in January.
The Gunners have lost key creative players like Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey to injuries and the Gunners are keen to strengthen their squad by signing Koziello.
Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen also sent representatives to watch the player recently and the blues scout were impressed with the French midfielder’s performance.
With Jose Mourinho keen on improving his side after a disappointing start to the current campaign, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will join the race to sign Koziello.
Koziello joined nice in 2013, he initially joined the club’s academy on his arrival, the midfielder then made his debut last year against Olympic Lyon as a 72 minute substitute and has since then impressed for the French club.
Koziello is now an important member of Nice first team and has scored 2 goals in 20 appearances since making his first team debut in November last year.
