Arsenal have been chasing Celta Vigo winger Nolito since the summer transfer window and the Gunners may have been given a significant encouragement in the race for the winger.
The winger has been in fine form this season and The Daily Telegraph reports that Celta wants the player to be sold to a club outside Spain instead of a La Liga rival giving Arsenal the edge of Barcelona.
It has been reported that Arsenal are ready to meet the €17.92million release clause in the Spaniards contract and also triple his wages in order to lure the winger to the Emirates.
However Barcelona are still thinking about matching the player’s release clause as the Catalan giants consider their Financial power and Financial fair play. Should Barcelona meet the player’s release clause then it will be up to the player to decide if he prefers to remain in the La Liga or move to the premier league.
Nolito has recorded seven goals in 11 appearances this term and his consistent performances for Celta have made it difficult for him to go unnoticed.
Celta are prepared to sell the player who joined them for €2.5million in 2013 should their demands be met.
The gunners are currently struggling with injury crisis and injuries to Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey and Oxlade Chamberlain has made Arsene wenger desperate to bring the Spaniard to the Emirates.
Should Nolito join Arsenal, he will be a quality addition to the North London side.
