Paris Saint Germain Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to exit the Parc des Princes after it was reported that the French Champions have told him he is free to leave before the end of the transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
This news is said to have alerted Arsenal who are evidently in the market for a World class striker, with only Theo Walcott (Who is still adapting to playing centrally) and Olivier Giroud Upfront for the Gunners.
The big Swede has been a long time target of Wenger, with the Frenchman almost signing him during his days in Ajax, and also linked to him before he left Barcelona for PSG.
The 33-year-old’s temperament, attitude and wage demands might be an issue, but his talent and presence on the pitch more than makes up for that.
With Arsenal set to challenge for the title this season, a top class striker is needed; and with reports claiming Zlatan can leave in a cut price deal, it’s a chance Arsenal cannot afford to miss.
