Arsene Wenger and his men will take a short bus trip to Selhurst Park to take on fellow London rival Crystal Palace in Sunday’s Premier League lunch-time kickoff.
The Gunners will be looking to secure all three points as well as putting up a fine performance against the Eagles, after a horrendous show last weekend at the Emirates against West Ham.
Ahead of Sunday’s London derby, Wenger revealed the latest team and injury update in what would be regarded as bitter-sweet news for Arsenal fans.
“Hector Bellerin is back and is available for Sunday. Danny Welbeck is making good progress, but is still not available.” Wenger said when asked on the latest team.
On Jack Wilshere…
“We said Jack would be out for four weeks, and he’s in the second week now so he’s on schedule.”
On Tomas Rosicky…
“Tomas has had surgery on his knee. His agent said he will be out for one or two months, but it will be longer. How long exactly, we don’t know yet.”
“Alexis Sanchez is fit, he’s been working hard and is ready for the weekend.”
