[wp_ad_camp_4]

The World Cup is finally here again after 4 long years. The competition so far has proven to be a very entertaining one, with both the score-sheets and on-field action giving us fans good value for our time and money.

We’ve seen everything from crazy managers to semi-cannibalism – and we haven’t even got to the quarter-finals yet!

Here at The Clock End, we have compiled a list of our top 5 funniest World Cup memes so far. Here it goes.

2. Flappy Bird 2: Van Persie Edition

3. Suarez Park

After his handball fiasco during the last World Cup, Suarez knew that he had to do something wild again to keep the controversy around his name alive, and after his proven track record of biting players it must have seemed like the most obvious and logical thing to do.

4. How Do You Say ‘Titanic Failure’ In Spanish?

5. Poor Roy

It’s very easy to get caught in the media hype whenever England appear in a competition, but when your manager looks like this during the games it’s a surprise that they didn’t lose every match 10-0.
